The whole thing is just a day late and a dollar short.

"Space Jet"?? OK then good-luck with that, WTH does that even mean? Did they hire consultants to come up with that name? Reminds me of Sure Jet! Another thing, don't proclaim your moving some production to "cut corners", that just sounds wrong in the aviation biz..

I'm confused. Is Space Jet a spacecraft? Is it flown by astronauts? Or if you get type rated can you at least call yourself an astronaut?

I think it will have a lot of room or space inside.

If you try to go to space in the Space Jet, you will not go to space today.

I'd bet that "Space Jet" is a translation from something in Japanese that sounds much better. It's probably a translation from a word that means "roomy." Similarly, I expect that "cut corners" should have been "increase efficiency."

Yes interesting development, I don't see a long future for the CRJ line, maybe we all become spacejet pilots?

Shrinking a airframe almost always results in less efficiency and ultimently a market failure. Embraer and Mitsubishi went all in on scope caves by the major airlines. It did not happen and now they are trying to salvage something from the wreckage. That’s not likely to succeed either.
