I've always thought AirNet's "Starcheck" sounded strange.

"Flamingo" or "Air France" Can never understand them anyways!
Navy trainer was "Bobcat" I heard one day.

I usually follow an Air France call with the customary "Ribbit" on the radio... most captains and controllers get a kick out of it. One time the AF guy came back and lightheartedly said "Well, MOOO to you, Texans!"

Ahh... all in good fun!
