I agree they did not disclose who they would lease them to. They did disclose who they would not be leasing them to. They stated that after buying them from GJ(only 550 operator) they would be leasing them to ANOTHER operator.

Consider who started this thread. Read their post history. Read the actual article. This is not news, it is someone who has an agenda exploiting an article title.

Exactly right. If you look at post histories of several (well, two at least that are glaringly obvious), people on this thread, there is an obvious bias, a desire to see G7 fail, going back not only to the beginning of Covid but for years.. very similar to politicizing an issue rather than seeking truth.

I linked to the Skywest article that announced the move. Colive10 doesn't like my post saying I have an agenda. I do have an agenda, in the past it was to warn people about what GJ is like and what they might be getting into. Now I'm warning people about what is happening. Colive10 is terrified that I am right. If you have information that this is a good move by GJ and they will be keeping the planes for the multiyear deal, gather the information and post it. You want some optimism? Ok, I will post some positive speculation:

TSH and GJ's financials are in the dumpster, millions gone in discrimination suits recently, the inability to make their lease payments have put them on the edge of shutting down remaining operations. GJ cannot afford the payments on their remaining planes and cannot refinance them at affordable terms. To overcome this, Skywest airlines is coming in with their good credit and is buying the planes with extremely low interest costs and may be leasing the planes back to Gojet on better terms than they could have obtained on their own. The arrangement brings life to GJ which literally had only been hours away from a Chapter 7 permanent shutdown.

Yeah...not "terrified" of anything, just calling it as I see it. And your agenda is obvious to anyone who reads your history. I feel bad for you for whatever happened to you in the past, possibly at G7 or anywhere else. But spending all your time posting misleading information on a forum designed for airline pilots, not company ownership or managment but pilots, absolutely does nothing for your cause. You are not achieving any victory in that. Many people have had many different experiences at many different airlines, and usually it is a reflection of themselves more times than not. Management isnt perfect at any airline, but its how you deal with, adapt to, overcome and make the best of your own personal situation that determines your character and maturity. So try doing that instead of constantly getting on APC to start intentionally misleading threads about companies you dont like. Not that ANYONE should rely on this site for accurate information, but you are certainly not helping anyone either.

I don't see how posting a link to a factual news story shows an agenda earning your attacks. As the people above me point out, you seem to be the one with an agenda, an agenda to defend GoJet, probably the most undependable company in the country. A company that, when it finds out that someone has cancer, its first act is to give the person a checkride so it can then fire the person and save 200k in cancer treatment.

If you are now GJ management I understand you want to encourage people to stay and fly the planes so it doesn't have to close earlier than it needs to. Neither Compass or TSA made it to the date they said it would. But there is no way in hell that GJ is going to survive this and is a person has a chance to jump to another airline they should not wait around hoping that some miracle comes and saves GJ. A GJ miracle would be one that keeps it going another year or 2, but in the end the patient is still dead and buried.
