Not sure thats good or bad.
The 550 is scope restricted when it comes to weight, this causes it to be restricted to the amount of fuel it can take and therefor the distance it can fly, specially when they have alternates. I've been told that G7 have to kick off a bunch of passengers when they have alternates.
G7 tried to get certified to fly into Aspen, i believe the passengers would love the 550 going in there. What i was told is that the FAA didn't want to certify G7 for Aspen operations.
