Quote: Polis more than radical? Curious, how do you rate Boebert then?

Polis has been decent in his approach largely data driven, by no means perfect though. Somewhere between the inept governors like Noem and more level headed folks like Dewine.

Wow, you do have a way to misdirect. My comment was not about Boebert, but about your statement about Colorado. Have to stay focused, this is about the exit door and how these people, including Governor Polis use the crisis to bring their new normal . And yes he, like so many, has abused the intent of Executive order within our State.

But go and enjoy.

Quote: Virus gonna virus, pretty simple. You can’t control it in a country as complex, interconnected as the US. Simply impossible as demonstrated daily by the multiple failures to contain it. No state, regardless of strategy, has done so,
Agreed with much of this, the resistance though to simply wearing a mask in public, getting a vaccine, be a good citizen via social distancing and washing your damn hands though...

For the record I'm no preacher of lock downs nor one who believes we should just 'open it up'. Somewhere in between seems to work and we need to accept more people will die as we can't shutter the economy to protect every single life. Where I might find common ground with some of you is my disdain of the Patriot Act and the response post 9/11 where so many advocated for actual freedoms being taken away in the name of 'safety'. We can't or don't live in a 100% safe world but common sense mitigations in the midst of a pandemic aren't the end of the world either.

It's fair to demand an exit strategy, if it really keeps you up at night call your elected representatives and let them know.

Quote: What businesses were specifically told they can no longer operate?
Is this a serious question? It can’t be a serious question.

Not a misdirection, but if you paint Polis in such a light it would be telling if she doesn't meet your definition of radical. Just to know where you are coming from.

What businesses did the big bad government shut down and squash forever? During the lock downs non-essential businesses were deemed, well non-essential. Was it an overreaction? Perhaps.

But the assertion I'm getting is that somehow the government is continuing to put their collective foot on mystery businesses in the name of some evil plan to curtail your freedumbs. That ain't happening.

Ok, you aren’t a serious person.

^ What a clueless moron...wow. Just wow. This is why we’re doomed. Clueless useful idiots that think they’re helping.

Quote: That's a super crappy byproduct not a rouse to steal freedoms. It is by no means 'not a big deal' so nice try.

Metrics, every state has them...here's mine they aren't just winging it good grief. Enough virtue signaling.

If you notice, there is no metric in there that says pandemic is reduced to manageable, go about your life as normal.
Even the green line is severely restricted. So no, I don’t believe the idiots at the top have any intentions of allowing this crisis to go away.

Did you write or call said idiots and ask them?

Slipped my mind.
Why the metrics with every scenario but Open as usual?
Literally whoever wrote the metric doesn’t have that as an option. Green normally means all is well.
That only means 50% in this case.
What’s better then green? No way to know, and doesn’t seem to be on the table.
