How's the LAX crew room? Is it still in the waiting area at gate 59? if so, I know where there's a row of seats that don't have arm rests...Xanadu.

If only there was a document that described the minimum requirements for Crew Rooms...one that the company would abide by.

you definitely need separate rooms. We had this happen in ATL when they were redoing one of the rooms and there were bags literally everywhere. Girls sleeping on all the couches and their stuff spilling out onto everything. It was like walking into a triage room. Plus the non stop talking, especially about work etc that was crazy.
I had a 3 hr sit and decided to spend that time walking around instead.

This is exactly the case at AA. Bases where we have crew rooms just for flight, PHX JFK MIA DFW are pretty nice. Bases where we share with inflight like LAX and LGA, it looks like skid row with make shift sleeping areas everywhere. I hate that.

ATL is OK, but the tables aren’t really big enough to spread out your North Atlantic plotting chart. Also the drinks are overpriced, the gelato bar is perpetually out of sprinkles, and the pianist only knows Rachmaninoff.

KLM has a very nice one in Amsterdam.

I’ve been in uniform and showed my Platinum card... and welcomed and directed to the grub.

I avoid crew rooms completely. Although living in base now helps with that.

I’ve mentioned having separate rooms from the FAs at spirit and guys don’t seem to care. It’s so loud and full of constant drama

Quote: UAL for the most part are very nice. DEN and SFO especially

You consider SFO "nice'?

It really does make a huge difference. I've been in the FA crew rooms a couple times and they're actually nicer than the pilot ones, but so much louder.
