Please don’t bid the new flying and let it go junior.

This is exactly why no one should lose sleep over some folks seeing some layovers as unsafe or undesirable. All it does is create a niche where you will have fewer folks to bid against. I don’t blame someone for not feeling like the juice is worth the squeeze with regards to the personal risk (minimal statistically, but not necessarily emotionally) inherent in some layovers. People who don’t want these layovers make it easier for those who do to hold them. It’s a win for them too, because the folks who want the “dangerous” layovers aren’t bidding for something else. Mo flying is always mo better for us.

Now, what airplanes will Carol find in order for us to grow by an additional 14 tails next year, on top of already announced orders?

And who are they gonna get to fly the peak overflow as 60 year olds bail in droves rather than hang out in Chicom Prison Camp and Atlas has just become an unofficial subsidiary of Purple from November to January?

No problem, I just have never been to Israel and would like to go. And I’m super junior

I believe the impetus for losing that run is our crew laying over in IST when terrorists took over the hotel.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I've haven't heard any senior z bubbas say they weren't bidding these layovers. Let's hope they're more than the min rest we have all over Europe.

Quote: Was it now? Really? Can you back it up with any numbers or is it all so-I’ve-heard “truth”?? What has changed since then? Anything? Has the terrorism threat diminished? Yeah, didn’t think so..

(By the way, yours is the excuse management has used for years and years to keep that flying away from us. After all, it cost them 90% less when the Turkish outfit flew it.)

Tank - WTF!?! - I used to follow your replies.

I feel safer in “bad areas” of Tel Aviv or Istanbul (been to both - numerous times!) than I do in “good areas” of Chicago or Detroit.

Hell, we might as well give up on ALL of our international flying based on your mindset. Wow!! 😢😢😢

PLEASE DO NOT BID ANY OF THOSE TRIPS!! It only took us close to 21 years to get those trips back since the last cadre of people with your perception refused to fly them!!

So you just proved my point. NOTHING has changed from back then.

We better hurry up and give up all that flying to other airlines before it’s taken away from us..
