Quote: I can't imagine there are many DEC's out there.

AA needs their regional lift, and can't afford to let them become non viable. I imagine they are going to make increasingly drastic moves to keep pilots at their regionals.

They'll never be able to make regionals competitive with legacies, but I could see them making at least regional captain pay on par with the LCC's.
Meanwhile, HR receives stacks of PRIA requests from Legacy and certain Express Freight carriers.

I imagine the situation is similar at the other WO's.

From what I heard (you can likely confirm), 33 resignations from the seniority list in the last month, plus another 10 flows. A loss of 43 pilots.

I think you over estimate how much the company tells any one.

But at the same time I just did two days of SCR without getting called.

The difference between standing in knee deep water and waist deep water isn’t really significant. It’s going from shoulder deep to ear deep that matters. The situation will be fine until it is not.

Don't you get a seniority list updated every month?

I think it’s been discovered/known that the seniority lists the company gives us every month are wildly inaccurate. People disappear from the list then reappear a month later for no reason and it takes months for some people to fall of the seniority list after leaving the company. Also the flows stay on the list until they pass training which takes several months.

And here I was thinking that some money years down the road would help keep people from leaving for much greener pastures in the short term!

Oh well. Maybe next month we'll hit those enhanced flow requirements.

Lol. Are you referring to the enhanced flow that actually increases time to flow if all the conditions are met?

I always forget that sarcasm doesn't translate well through text.
