What hasn't even been brought up is this-
https://archer.com/news/archer-and-u...tional-airport
So, lets say this-
6 flights a day, times two routes (EWR-Man/Man-EWR) equals 12 flight an hour.
One pilot can probably do 3 flight in an hour so you need 4 pilots.
If you run the service 14hrs a day with a couple of low times, you still need at least 8 pilots (based on a 7 hour day)
Throw in a one on FSB (lol).. so we're at 9 pilots. For a day.
How many days can a pilot work? lets day 18.. so you need 16 pilots.
What about reserves to cover sick/vacation/training? let's say 20 pilots.
Where do they get these 20 pilots and what list are they on? What is their pay? Union?
We can't (supposedly) staff our Regional flying. Yet they are going to staff this?
I guess an organization like
https://www.rtag.org/ (RTAG) is a good place to look, but definitely needs to be watched and addressed.
Always
