Any thoughts on the pay raise at Breeze and the cancellation of the $2000 commuting pay?

What was the raise? I didn’t see anything in the Breeze thread.

Company raised the pay back in October. The current pay on APC is correct. It was said the company will re-evaluate pay again next year.

With the regional paying well, LCCs hiring at ATP mins, and legacies hiring like crazy. Not sure why anyone would go to breeze unless you can drive to a base.

As far as pay, everyone at Breeze with the exception of the new FOs are making 180 to 207 an hour. A high percentage are captains or street captains with literally quick upgrades. Line holders work about 10 days a month. Some of the pilots picking up premium trips on days off are making 20k+ a month. I think most of us that are still here are here to be part of a startup, could be the next big thing. Seniority goes up very rapidly. We only have around 24 planes now and it’s projected to be at least 110 total. I think it was 80 A220s by 2026 with option of 40 more as well as 30Ejets. I think this proposition beats employment at least at other LCCs.

Might be good reasons to stay at breeze but he said why would anyone go to breeze. It doesn’t matter if your seniority number is 50 in the company if there’s only 50 pilots your bottom of the list. If breeze is even around long enough without being bought out it’ll take a decade to grow that seniority list to get enough behind a new hire to really mean anything. Breeze is probably better than regionals but it carries just as much risk being a start up. But I don’t see the pay and qol beating lcc or legacies. It makes sense if you live in base but not so much for anyone else.

What’s 401K at breeze?

While I’m not going to disagree with shortspatula, I will say things stagnated a bit late this fall, and we won’t see more growth until about March. We’re in a low travel demand period. So while seniority should go up quickly, we’ve had guys that have been on perpetual reserve, one or two away from holding a line for months.

If you can’t make 20k+ a month as a captain here, you’re not trying. Several were clearing 40k over the summer.
401k sucks, it’s a regional style 4/5% thing. that’s probably #1 to fix on our CBA

The company is going to evolve and look much different even 12 months from now. Like it’s been said the Ejet was a means to an end, they have much bigger plans. There’s tons of people in the background trying to make this place great. Best of luck at your LCC

What LCCs are hiring at ATP mins?
I Breeze hiring at ATP mins? Sorry for the questions as I have been out of flying for a while and evaluating a possible come back.
Thanks!
