NWA was my first choice back in 1999. They had iron clad scope language and NWA ALPA was unbreakable. While all the other legacy's were giving up their scope for Pay, NWA ALPA knew what would happen if they let RJ's on the property. Well, now, there no different then anybody else.
I just resigned today. It truly is a sad day for me. I thought I died and gone to heaven when I arrived in MSP that fall day in 99. It's a personal choice, and I pray I am doing the right thing!
Good luck to all!
Congrats on the resignation.!? (I think?). I flew with one gentleman the other week who said he would hurt me really bad if he found out I was trying to get on at NWA.
He, and another pilot who is also with us, are furloughed from NWA, and are not going back. They said it is a horrible place to be right now, and doesn't seem to be getting better.
Also, a United guy just resigned from there the other week. Same story. One is on the edge right now. He thinks it will be around August to make up his mind.
BTW, where are you now? Kalitta?
