incorrect I fly for fedex but currently looking for an exit strategy as it isn’t even close to what I thought it was going to be.

I know many captains and even FO’s that avoid FA’s like the plague once we’ve all hopped off the shuttle and head to the hotel room, myself included. They are just so damn dramatic. I cannot for the life of me understand a lot of people in that work group. Sometimes I can sense other FA’s get annoyed by other FA’s and they’re tired of their bullshxx too, and it’s not just pilots. Sometimes I desire to be around angry passengers than to be standing around overly dramatic, entitled FA’s bitXX and complain nonstop about things. They let the smallest things get to them. Many of them also are very unprofessional out and about in public and around customers. Half the stuff that flows out of their mouths could literally cost a pilot their job. Some are straight up nasty to the customers and the customer wasn’t even rude to them to start with. Recently had a FA talk really nasty to a passenger getting on the aircraft and she did it to them for no particular reason. Her tone was like “this is MY aircraft you’re getting on, now hurry up and board and shut up and quit asking questions. Just shut up and comply.” I turned around and looked at her and gave her the look of “please lose the attitude, k?” She seemed to change her tone a little after I did that, but I also get tired of that with a lot of them from time to time and I haven’t witnessed that in other industries I’ve worked in, including retail. I’ve seen people get treated better while shopping at Walmart or Kroger, and I’m not exaggerating.

He's not wrong, soft times soft people entitled people narrative focused people whatever it may be. Smile and wave smile and wave. Cargo is a great spot for many of us and many have never looked back.

That's great and for the most part neither do I since I don't deal with it thankfully. Just witnessing the rudeness every so often while dead heading on commercial carriers makes me stay away from our pax operation's for the most part, granted they are charters/mil so it's different than all of society having access lucky us.

The word standards comes to mind. Not mine or yours just overall good manners which seems to be lost at times. Based on current events I see your point "it's not my job" mentality along with "what place is that exactly" is quite confrontational and scary not knowing where that place of professionalism lies along with good manners. Not advocating the "beneath us in some way" narrative or labeling unless you mean when we're flying overhead. So glad this has little or no effect on our box hauling flights - nothing like casual flying. Those who deal with this makes me feel more blessed. Godspeed!
