I had a copy of all my flight records just in case but they really didn't look past my form 5. (Interviewed on the 23/24 of May)

Be on the safe side and bring them!

Make sure the Florida License paper is completed with BLUE ink!!!

Congratulations!

Any news on a class date? Last week I heard we would probably be the second group in July, or first of August. I'm travelling a lot and afraid I might miss the call.
Quote: FAA Class 1; plus hearing and visual acuity tests using their boxes, and blood work. You will know the results of your tests as you go along if you ask. The Blood Work comes back a week later and they will send you a copy if you ask. Thorough, but no surprises.
BB,

When you talk about the hearing exam, is it like the usual military or is it harder? I have a little loss that I am worried about.

Thanks.
Quote: Just to let all of you know they just put a bid out for 50 some domestic 767 F/O's out of ATL, and if I remember correctly 6 ER ATL F/O's and 50 some NYC ER FO's. IE many new hires are going to the 767.

BTW I would bring everything that you have in your jacket for the interview. They may or may not look at it, but it is better to be over prepared.
ACL65,

Do you know if the new hire 76 guys out of ATL will likely be sitting reserve for a long time (6 months or more) or is it likely that they will be able to hold lines rather quickly...

Lobo,

did you bind these flight records in a pretty little folder or anything special or did you just hand them the sheet of paper....
767 guys will be on reserve for a while. I'm bidding 397 out of 397.. haha.

I would have been holding a line this month on NYC Maddog if I didn't get brought into training.

The reserve lines arent that bad...every one of them has at least one weekend off.

I just used an alligator clip for the forms that they requested and had them in a folder ready to go, then a larger clip for the flight history over the last several years that they didn't look at.

Lobo
Yes, reserve on the 76 will be some time. I would guess at least a year if not more. With all of the hiring that is going on, there will be a lot of movement. 88 ATL FO will probably hold a line in less than 6 months after being converted to ATL.
Any news on how long after the interview that class dates are getting assigned? Lobo, let us know if youhear anything. Hopefully the second July class is still open.

BB,
For me, I got the call with a class date almost month to the day from the interview. The class date was about 3 weeks out from the phone call. I think a lot of the timing is based on how quickly you background check, driving record, and FAA PRIA records comes back. Hope this helps.
