My question for you F9 guys is what does this mean for you? One certificate? Transition from one Certificate to the other by bid period or bid posting? If that is the case that definition may have far reaching implications?

There will probably be no combination of certificates. Where it impacts us is that we were hired out of an RJ captain seat (in most cases) into the Airbus with the expectation of movement up to senior Airbus captain one day. Now, depending on what happens to the fleet, our expectation is somewhere between indefinite career stagnation while RAH pilots bypass us, to downgrade back to RJ captain or FO.

Alternatively, if Frontier were to grow in a similar fashion to what United did in the 90's, I have gone from expecting to retire as a moderately senior 747 captain with 80 pilots senior to me, to retiring as a reserve 777 captain with 600 pilots ahead of me.

But at least we're making money now. Oh...never mind.

That is kind of what I assumed.

This about sums up what the next 7 years + 60 days are going to be like. After that it will get really bad.

You are all going to be sleeping in the bed you make. Good luck. You're going to need it.

So with regards to SLI implementation, is it supposed to be 60 days from now or 60 days from a single representation unit? I've heard both. Or will it be longer than that?

60 days from nmb ruling

Doesn't this mean that Shuttle America is now a direct competitor of DAL?

It's business 101: Outsource your work to your competition so as to fund their growth.

So I'd say replace "is now" with "has been" so as to say "Doesn't this mean that Shuttle America has been a direct competitor of DAL?"

If I'm ALPA at Delta at least, I'm looking at challenging the the outsourcing to Republic with this announcement. Heck, especially at American with how Republic had to work around just fly a handful of E140's.
