Bengalsfan is mostly right. The Falcon and BBJ at NJA and all the G-IVs + Vs at NJI have flight attendants, but customers can request a FA for any airplane on any flight if they want to pay extra. I think the G-200s were going to have them, but the performance wasn't going to be as good with the extra body on all flights, but the interior is very nice and big inside that one.
The pilots who fly the Excel also fly the XLS since they don't make Excels anymore and we are getting lots of XLS and they are very, very similar (very easy differences training, but I guess different enough to pay me more).
The 18 day schedule changes from month to month and throughout the month. You choose 4 hard days off in the month (I think by the 13th of the month before) in blocks of 2 or 4 (at least 7 days between hard days if used in blocks of 2 and you can stack your 4 hard days at the end of the month with your 4 hard days the next month at the beginning to guarentee 8 in a row off if you want). They can keep you out for up to 7 days in a row and if they keep you the full 7 they have to give you at least 4 days off before working again and they have to give you at least 3 days off for any trip less than 7 days. They were putting up prospective schedules that were pretty close for a while, but they stopped when people complained too much about their schedules changing (though the contract specifically states they can change it at any time as long as they give you the specified days off depending on how many days you work and what your hard days off are.) I'm on 7 + 7 now, but I liked the 18 day schedule when I did it (my wife wanted more definite days off for me so I made the change). The only times I did the full 18 was when I voluntarily extended for lots more money and I was even able to extend a couple of months and still not work the full 18. 7+7 is the default schedule here and almost anybody who wants it will get it, but at least 10 percent must be on the 18 day schedule- and since it pays better there have been very few junior assigned to the 18 day schedule. There are ways of maximizing your days off on the 18 day schedule by strategic hard day bids to get nearly a 7 + 7 schedule with 18 day pay (it doesn't always work, but it worked most of the times I tried).
