The attrition is on the FO side. People are leaving to Delta, United, Southwest, and Alaska.
I honestly don't know what is normal anymore with the schedule... I just bid the month before and end up with what I can get.
We just started doing 4 day lines that day 2 and 3 you go coast to coast, day 1 and 2 are one legs to the coast. We did this kind of flying years ago in the 727. It didnt work out so well but hey the management is inept and they will try it again.
To be truthful the management here isnt real airline management. They have no forsight and plan to grow the company.
