Tough to recruit when the OWNER publicly said that and he still has not recinded that phrase from a few months ago.

I think there is a meeting soon. On the plus side. We have a job fair for pilots and many other jobs at the Ramada today.... I thought we were shutting down? I am not taking anything less than industry average. This guys a clown!! Prospective pilots beware. This will get uglier.

Thanks -- If you're in Minneapolis, Sun Country could be great for you. I don't think anyone actively discourages pilots from coming here, but before you come, please know that things may go either way. Since it's a private company, everything is pretty much unknown (actual profits, future business plans, etc.) and all speculation. The only "known" is that much more money will be earned elsewhere if that's what is most important to your life.

I didn't go to the job fair but got called and had a voicemail from them today about an interview. So maybe it was slim pickings at the job fair.. Thinking I have to stay put until they get a better contract/pay raise..if that ever happens.

Productive meeting?
Ok, it's been 2 weeks... so was there an update put out to the pilot group regarding any recent negotiations on the pilot contract? If so, was the meeting even a productive one?
Hard to even imagine the frustration after 5 years of negotiations.
Thanks.
