Not as of now. I think some miss information was released to the newspaper.. From what we have heard from the MEC is that they have made substantial progress and they thought by the end of the weekend they would have a TA. That time has come and gone. I think they are all still in DC and we should have an update maybe Ina day or two. Hopefully a TA to vote yes on! It will be interesting to see what they get.

Anyone know a name or number for pilot hiring over there? I am a Minneapolis local just about to wrap up my R-ATP hours. I understand they were looking for 2000tt and a MEATP, but I figured it could never hurt to inquire.

I visited with their Chief Pilot about six weeks ago (I had 3800tt, 2500me, 2200 turbine, and 1100TPIC at the time). He stated that they were looking for 4000+ hours total time and turbine PIC time to be competitive.

Even with the dismal pay and QOL hit the airline has had in the last year. They still look for guys with higher times and PIC if they can. There are some unique circumstances that people will get hired with much less.

Oddly enough, yesterday I received a phone call from the CP shortly after posting this. He offered me a class date of Oct 26.

SCA will be hurting this winter. When you only need to give a two week notice and it takes almost 90 days to get on the line, that casues a major staffing issue. Check rides are about 60 days from the first day of training. 40 hours of IOE. Some people think its a lot but most of OE flights are day turns which are 6-7 hours of flying, so 6 turns.
Once on the line and on reserve, you will be doing a combination of day turns, multi day trips, charters, and ETOPS all over the world.
They are adding IOE captains to help get new hires on the line faster.

Are you gonna take it? They are receiving a lot of PRIA requests and the resignations are picking up.
