Quote: Soooo, to recap-----ONLY FAs are guilty of being cheap and stealing food and other supplies. Funny, but I've known more than a few pilots who've done the same AND have gone so low as to steal light bulbs and batteries from the remote control from hotel rooms.
Nooooo....Not just FAs. Just FAs and CAs. RTFT.

Quote: I had an executive level secretary suggest that the pilots at my former (commuter) airline "donate" all our "unused" motel toiletries to the homeless.

She stopped when I emailed the suggestion to her that we also "donate" all the "unused" galley supplies from the aircraft each night. You know, those sodas and snacks provided by mainline?
That's ok, when I worked for an unnamed commuter airline (that rhymes with ASA) the inflight supervisors were asking the FAs to collect the pens and notepads from the hotels for use in the inflight lounge & office. Always figured the announcement for us to collect hotel toilet paper for use on the airplanes was right around the corner....

Quote: The medical lab that takes your credit card and tells you it's to bill you for any or all charges your insurance won't pay. (then provides the outrageous amount you may be billed!) When I complained to the technician she said to call the customer service number. Called them and someone is lying since they told me you don't have to provide credit card info if you don't want to. ***????
There's a lot of detail to go into on this about medical billing and right to care, etc etc etc, but the short version is that requiring a credit card upfront before treatment or lab work is illegal. Either (a) find a new lab or (b) tell them you don't have a credit card and ask if they're going to deny you medical treatment on that basis. If you choose (b) and they say yes, find a lawyer ASAP because you have found the proverbial "golden ticket".

One of our FA's packed her bag in a small Nebraska town with the hotels brand new bed set. She didn't keep her job long.

If I remember correctly those were king-size beds and it was a down comforter... She must of had to sit on the suitcase to zip it shut.

Now Now…no need to play the FA martyr card here.

By the way, my FO epaulets are missing! I was going to call airport security but when I reached for my cell phone, it was missing also!

I noticed all this right after passing 3 FAs at gate D15 @ IAD. Botta Bing!

I believe they were King size Comforters. I guess the CA put it up in the airplane and it felt like it was going to bust at the seems. I remember him saying "I was like, your bag wasn't this heavy yesterday". That reminds me, one of our hotels got new mattresses....gotta pack a few COMAT stickers on my next trip.
