Like many guys up in ANC that commute to work, I prefer to fly long blocks (12 day trips) for long blocks of time off. It seems that a lot of folks that live up in ANC like the same thing, because we have lines with 10 PVG turns (10 different report times), or many SDF turns that go untouched until the very junior pick them up in hopes of trip trading them (yeah, good luck with that).
I could bid back down to ONT now, and have a 90 minute drive to work, vice dealing with the ANC commute. The reason I won't do it is because of the horrible base line trips that I would probably get stuck with as a result. Your nirvana of more report times and shorter trips is my personal nightmare in hell.
So, how exactly do commuters screw non-commuters again?
