Nonrev cost on aa

As a us airways employee we are now able to Nonrev on aa by listing on myidtravel. Is the cost that they quote the correct cost we pay ( ie our discounted rate) or is that still the id90 price quote?

Check the price on another carrier.

Booked ZED on DL and US. US was about 1/3 the ZED cost that DL was.

myidtravel.com is a joke! I lost over $150 on two eZeds on UAL because I "listed" for two flights, which I didn't make due to full loads. Once that eZed ticket number is used to "list" it, regardless if you didn't make the flight, it's no longer valid. So I had to purchase yet another eZed ticket. Forget trying to contact someone at myidtravel.com...no contact information whatsoever and my own airline tells me the tickets were used, when in fact, I used my own metal on one portion to make a connection flight on UAL. Last option looks like I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute these charges since I obvious purchased something I can't use. Anyone else have anything similar with eZeds?

There is cancellation link that allows you to cancel things if you weren't able to use them and you will be refunded the price minus like a $4 service charge although no one tells you this and it can be very frustrating till you get figure it out. I think when you click cancel you then have to click another link to refund and then if you don't do it at that time it's not possible to get back to the refund link.

Right. Also, if you buy from MyIDTravel and don't check in for the flight (such as using it for a back up flight), you can refund and get the service fee back in addition to the ZED amount. When I refunded a KLM ZED, it took about 2 weeks for the refund to process and show up on my credit card.

I used a 4 leg ZED out of order. Didn't get on the leg 1 and leg 4. I used leg 2 and 3 on Horizon Air.

I was denied a refund for not using Zed in order. Leg 1 and leg 4 was full so I rode on my own airline American.

I'll just jumpseat or fly my own airline from now on. Also I switched to a mileage rewards card.

Yeah, I tried that first but reflected tickets were already used, which they were not. Had agents look up ticket numbers with own airline and they each reflected as being used as well, so the system is broken somewhere. I thought the purpose of an eZed was to eliminate the paper zed tickets for easier travel but paper tickets were so much easier...and easier to transfer between other carriers. As for refunds, just drop in the mail. To the poster below about using Zed's out of order and not being refunded, there's some fine print I've never heard before. I know why myidtravel.com doesn't provide any contact information!
