Congrats MPA! Reading the latest mec blast mail it sounds like they are planning classes at least every other week through the rest of the year! Here is looking forward to the next round of calls!

Disclaimer on the Poolie News "estimated dates" - since they have not provided any predictions in the last couple of UAL Poolie emails I have been listing "estimated dates" based on past performance of our APC Line Up, so "Actual Mileage will vary" ....but it has been pretty darn consistent.

Our line up is has been just shy of 50%. If you go back an look at the numbers the line up has had 5/11, 5/11, 7/15 ish and so on. However, this time around (and to my benefit) we had a much higher percentage.

I'm wondering about the aircraft since I thought I was told 18 newhires but it sounds like 15 is the correct number as several others have been told. I did not ask specifics...I was pretty much in shock I was even having the conversation at the moment. But he did confirm 15 New Hires to pick from 12 737s and 6 76Ts (also said I was very senior = old guy). I am "planning or hoping anyway" 737 if any one is wondering.

Caller ID - BK returned my call a couple weeks ago from Blocked Number, this call did come from an unblocked 303...not sure it means anything but just be on the look out for "Unknown Caller"/"Blocked"/"303"/"Holy crabapples UAL is calling".....o maybe that was my brain.

Congrats MPA and welcome aboard! Plan on doing a lot of sitting around on the 737 in Newark! Once you're done with training, you'll have plenty of time catching up on Breaking Bad!! I'm reserve in EWR on the 737 and haven't flown in over a month!! But I live locally so I'm loving the time at home!

So good news for the mid and high SSNs from the week of Nov. 13... I will now be deferring until August. I was told that I was on the line between July 8 and July 15 class, depending on how many they pull from the pool (read: how many returnees they get)... Best of luck to all of those waiting. I'll join the party when I can
