Losing an average of 3 FOs per week because they are getting hired away. Half of those have been going to AS. Most recent class all got first choice base assignments, including 4 to PDX.

I was on the fence for applying here even though I live in PDX. Things are apparently moving at a completely different pace now than before. If QX is a place you even think you want to be, I'd throw my stuff in now. Never hurts to come look for yourself.

If you do well enough during the interviews and have prior 121 time in the last 2 years, you will not have to do the sim portion.

I don't know if this was stated earlier but they have upped the hiring to 16 per 2 weeks. With upgrades in every class. By the end of April the most junior CA will be a 4/2004 hire. Yes!!!! 10 years. The May class will put it at a early 2005 hire.

Discounting the long upgrade time, as regionals go, Horizon isn't a bad place to work.

This. I've been saying it since I was hired, but everyone just rolls their eyes and moves on. Upgrade time is a snapshot of current performance, not a metric of future performance. With a company as small as QX, it doesn't take much to get a few years of upgrades done.

3 new airplanes, and the upgrade has gone from 1/2001 to mid 2004, and dropping.

First of all guarantee days off is thirteen every thirty five not fifteen. Second, the only way a April 2004 upgrades by May is if 43 fo's don't take the upgrade. You guys have been spiking your kool aide. Just because almost no one was hired between 9/11 and 2004 doesn't mean the floodgates have opened. Unless a miracle occurs the upgrades will stay around 9 years until we've had 150+ people upgrade or leave.

I never said the floodgates opened. I spoke with an FO in the SEA crew room who had just been offered an upgrade, and his DOH was April of 2004. Like you, I don't think the upgrade will drop below 9 years. The kool-aid line is old and tired, I'm simply trying to provide helpful information when I can.

Also, at the current rate, it will take about one year for 150 people to leave.

A lot of people passed the upgrade to avoid ANC. An ACP came into GS and said the most junior persons name who is upgrading in April and that person is a 4/2004 hire. But I guess hearing that and passing it on means that I drink the Koolaid. We will see when the training plan is updated. Now let's change the subject to the great schedules next bid.

The schedules is something we all agree on...worst ever I'm just glad it's a one time deal. The company is going to lose all they gained from cutting the schedules by the time people finish calling in sick for their worthless trips.
