Actually, it doesn't matter, I'll never be proved right or wrong on the issue.

The EtD will work regardless of all the positives and negatives about it. Delta claims they will honor all hired under the EtD. I don't think Delta has any plans on screwing anyone over if they cancel the program!

Ever since Delta management changed hands, tensions have been building between ASA/SKW and DAL. Now add in the pilot shortage, the rate reset, and the NO vote, and you have the real possibility that one, or both walk away from DAL. Hell, Shaniqua already walked away.

Wow! So much trust in an organization that will say anything, do anything to it's employees, especially the lower tiered ones like Endeavor, to keep it's cheap feed. The way it is structured, those "employees" have a better chance going the route we "unblessed" have to go.

I sincerely hope all those that go to Endeavor to under this guise to further themselves at the expense of the industry catch a raging case of herpes. Just like I wish the same on those of you at PSA and Endeavor currently that significantly lowered the bar. The deals that ExpressJet and Republic pilots voted were much better than what you sold your profession out for. Remember, that ****** will follow you.

Folks, Mesabah ' s information is very accurate.

ASA / Skywest would already be in trouble if Endeavor was more reliable. Frankly I was disappointed to learn Delta probably will purchase and place the remaining large RJ types allowed there. Endeavor holds the pole on the race to the bottom. ... and that is just the type Delta would like voting on Delta contracts as well ... not my preference, but 5 hat is just how it is unless the Delta MEC can be compelled to take a position.

I do not know how Delta management will address ASA ' S gate leases in Atlanta. They own about a fifth of the airport (under lease).

In any event, my efforts to have regional flying recognized as a real job are failing.

Also recall less than 5 years ago GoJets had the pole position and was the flavor of the day. These outsourcing strategies change constantly. An express level job is only as secure as the next deal with any other express carrier. Management has this whipsaw game down. The only way to win is to not play the game.

PSA, ExpressJet and Republic were voting on a bankrupcy contract? Dang I learn something new every day. Teach me more, oh wise one! I bet you think Endeavor voted yes to get more airplanes, eh?

Your handle says it all. I'm trying hard not to post a 'yo momma' joke with respect to youngsters eyeing these boards.
