Period!
I made that switch just over four years ago, and I am so thankful I am here now, and not there. Things are much worse, from what I understand from my friends still there, than they were when I left, and back then, it was a headache going to work. Between the mechanicals, delays, poor operation, and did I say mechanicals, it was such a hassle to just do my job there. While we have our issues here at jetBlue, they are no where near as bad as there. Not to mention, if you're goal is a legacy, it is better to ride things out at jetBlue while you wait, than be stuck at Allegiant.
You say you are a captain there, but haven't been there very long. So it's not as if you are a senior captain who is going to sacrifice some great QOL to leave. If you aren't used to CA pay, then the initial pay cut should be less painful. Not to mention you will get more put into your retirement in year one, than a senior CA at Allegiant gets from the company!
But at the end of the day, if you, as you say, are "used to getting beat down," and prefer that, Allegiant is definitely the place to be!
