Quote: Not only will the 50 seat aircraft get parked much sooner, what this PSA recruiter poster won't tell as well is they are very much at risk with staffing the Envoy CRJ-700 aircraft unless they get the Envoy pilots to come over with them.
So the answer to my question is no, you have no actual proof?

Quote: If the Envoy pilots come over, that creates up to a 6 month training gap for each pilot, since they would no longer be flying the line. AA cannot afford to have those planes sitting for that long.

The only way they can get staffed is with a surplus of regional pilots, which do not exist in this market.
They aren't parking all 47 CRJs on the ramp at CLT overnight.

It doesn't what proof I show, you will just ask for proof.

I'm sorry, I don't understand.

It's ok. If you have chosen to ignore all of it already, restating it won't change anything.

Real quality post there 404.

Folks, if you want to know what is really happening at PSA just IM me. I am not a recruiter. I created this account a year ago to help answer questions.

There has been no discussion of parking the -200's prematurely.

All of the -700's are still coming to PSA. We have plenty of First Officers in the pipeline and plenty are applying every day.

If you have the qualifications, PSA may be a good choice for you to quickly get in the left seat.

As was shown yesterday during the 404xyl induced flame baiting over displacements, it was shown by posting sections from the PSA contract that 404 is merely trying to cause problems and is completely uninformed. He just changes the topic of his flame bait.

What you wrote was not English.

I am not choosing to ignore your premise, and to an extent I agree the 200s will not be around forever. You have written (in 4 separate threads) that the 200s are going away much sooner than expected as if it was a fact that you knew for certain.

As far as I can ascertain this is your opinion. I think it is disingenuous to state something as a fact with no actual evidence.

My opinion is that PSA absolutely needs to fix the bottlenecks in the training pipeline, but currently has enough pilots on the seniority list to staff another 15 airplanes. Accounting for attrition the airline is growing by 30-40 pilots per month which should account for the 3 deliveries each month.

With all that said, it is also my opinion that they will need to hire at least a class or two of street captains to get ahead of the captain staffing. Currently the contract does not allow for street captains.

Very good post. All correct except that to my knowledge, the contract does not speak to street Captains. PSA has had an approved initial Captains course for years and has had street Captains before. J for J

I'm guessing that as a recruiter, management is only telling you what they want you to tell others. And, you say what helps you do your job. Could all of your posting be accurate, timely information? In theory, yes of course. Is it realistic that that is true? Not so much. This is a simple "consider the source" situation.
