Keep trying at other places...

I also received the tbnt last night.

8800 total
5000 Tpic
All turboprop, no jet
2 types.
3.6 gpa, under age 40.

I do have a bit of an unusual background though. The past nine years have been spent doing contract work for various Asian airlines.

Must say I am a bit bummed out though.

I know there's supposed to be new Airbus coming but isn't the net fleet supposed to be at or less than what there is now when all is said and done with MD80 retirements? Are all the future CAs hired already? Also is the md80 12 or 24 month seat locked if you get it? Thanks

No. The fleet will continue to grow.

This may sound odd since most people want the A320, but I would actually prefer to fly the MD80 over the Airbus at first. It is a much more challenging aircraft that one can use to build upon an already established well of previous turbojet/prop experience. Is there any chance of someone being given the option to select that airframe before it makes its exit in 2019?

There's a reason so many have bid over from the MD80 to the Airbus... and it has nothing to do with the MD80 being a challenging airplane.

Cramped cockpit, poor layout, hot, hot, hot in the summer, etc.

Nah... Im 48 and have almost the same qualifications. I did 121 but it was 13 years ago.

I'd say reach out to them in person, or contact one of the guys on here. You sound like you would be a shoe in. Im going out to interview later this month.

have 85 AC the end of this year the Plan by End of 2019 is to have 99 AC and will be all AB by then. So growth continues. Lots of good info like this within the financial reports all available to the public on Allegiant's website. Any prospective applicant would do good to read through that info to get to know what Allegiant has done and is doing financially
