CBA compliance was always going to be problem. I think everyone knew that, or should have known that. AAY didn’t invent anti-unionism; I think that’s been the case for all airlines for a while now. Hence the union insisted on dues check off, when M.G. stated he would never sign off on. That’s what the grievance process is for. Will we prevail, maybe. Or not. Will resolution happen immediately, not likely. The teamsters operate under the same system that is preordained for all airlines.
Everyone is hiring. I don’t understand why anyone who is overly frustrated with the CBA, management and/or the union isn’t already gone, or waiting for a class date. Bed bugs and/or a commute to a beautiful domicile are there for the taking.
