Quote: Besides the junior manning of last summer, what else would you say are those other reasons would be? I am considering TSA very hard, with an offer, as a way to get in quick to training get some 121 experience (former MIL rotor) and go to a homebase 135 operation.
If all you want is to get in and get some 121 and get out TSA should be ok. However lack of a pathway to mainline, staffing issues, slow progress on a contract, constant junior manning, and questionable long term future are reasons you might consider someplace else. I'm not saying don't come here, but TSA isn't for everybody.

This airline is a wreck and you’re getting advice from someone who posts non-stop nonsense. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Great first post, but I would beg to differ. As someone with many friends at many, if not most regionals, I would say we all share many of the same difficulties. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Pick a regional for domicile, upgrade time is an added bonus, do your time, and get out. Don't pick a regional from a "career longevity" standpoint. For now, if you want to be domiciled in DEN, ORD, or STL (in descending order of seniority), TSA would be a great place to be for a few years.

The grass is always greener on the other side. Though looking back at last job where it was a goat eaten dirt patch. I’m happy to be flying with a good bunch of people for the time being

Regionals are for a touch and go. If you’re still around in a few years when any of the doom comes according to the posters on here shame on you. You should be posting in the majors section by then and *****ing about how bad they have it also

LOL. Obviously you haven't been around long enough to know what a wreck looks like. TSA has serious issues, yes. But is far from a wreck.

Shows what a clueless idiot you are.

Is there any new rumors on the TSA front now that the deal with Republic is essentially dead? Just curious as I am getting ready to start training with a school that has a partnership with them.
