Do pilots get to keep their seniority for a certain amount of time if they leave for another airline? If they fail out they can return?

Yes. From what I understand it only applies to LCCs or majors. I think the cargo companies are included. 60 days and then they are off the list from what I can recall.

However, the LOA says that a training failure at the new company can mean they don't have to let you back.

Do you honestly think that they won't let you back if you busted a training event?

No. If you come back after a training failure, they know they have you for life.

Just announced, ERJ side is keeping 20 145's that were suppose to come offline, and they expect to still be flying them past 2019. They have new rates on the CBA that pay more as well.

As for the Delta flying, they are still working on that.

No ERJ's leaving in 2016. Positive step!

This is only the very beginning of what's in the works. If you guys can get the contract extension completed and voted in, you will be a very happy pilot group in the months that follow. Anyone who left for another regional or a national airline will wish they hadn't.
