New Son Of ASA/Expressjet Thread

ERJ FO - 367
CRJ CA - 53
CRJ FO - 94
CR9 CA - 63
CR9 FO - 102
Though all of those number might not be totally accurate due to the 60 day MOU. Ie people that have already left last year are still on the SR list and will not be off the SR list till 60 days after them leaving.

That's funny I was told the same thing in 2007. Myself and another guy were told that we were making a parallel move (mistake) he went to Air Tran or Jet Blue & I went to US Air. ASA, now Expressjet I'm sure is fine but if something better comes along don't be foolish.
This is only the very beginning of what's in the works. If you guys can get the contract extension completed and voted in, you will be a very happy pilot group in the months that follow. Anyone who left for another regional or a national airline will wish they hadn't.[/QUO

Well blast emails from company and union finally didn't contradict each other and seemed positive. Hopefully we got something look at and vote on soon. I'm hearing RUMOR of $40/hr 1st year pay. Anyone else hearing anything?

I'm hoping for something along those lines as well. Given the pay and perks many other regionals are now offering, mgmt kinda has to show us the money. Otherwise many more will leave and nobody will come in to replace us. This is pretty much their last shot at convincing me not to bail.

If we don't get at least $40/hr first year pay, we'll be shooting ourselves in the foot as far as being able to attract new pilots. I personally think $40/hr plus 30% for FO's and 20% for CA is reasonable. That would still put us below Delta's rates on the CRJ 900, but would be very meaningful as far as creating a place people want to come and work. Won't happen, but I think it's reasonable.

Damn, someone is a bit optimistic. Anything CLOSE to inflation/cost of living increases will surprise the hell out of me. I don't think this no vote will be as overwhelming as the last, but I guarantee neither ALPA nor the company have learned from their mistakes.
