I'm just hoping that buyout looks good enough to a bunch of you "old" guys.

I don't think it's going to make "numero uno" retire any sooner.

ATI hiring update as of Mar. '17
Spoke to a HR specialist two days ago:

Hiring 12 every three weeks indefinitely. This is a change from a goal of approximately 72 for the year 2017 that was announced beginning of the year.

Interviewing 6-8 a week to keep the pool filled.

Approximately 1000 apps on file, and will periodically open the
online window to keep the pile fresh.

Six more 767-300's tails this year. (This seems rather ambitious to me). All will be in Amazon paint and one will be a ATI spare (395CM). Another -300 might come before the end of year, but not definite. A 767-200 will also come out of heavy MX. This will be flown in the Amazon network and replace a -200 currently in the AZ network making it another spare tail. Even though this is an even swap and not an additional tail, I mention it because up until now ATI has been operating without a single spare aircraft and it has hurt us by having to contract replacement lift when we break.

I hope this helps,

FAJ

ABX is your contracted lift.....kinda. We fly it but you aren't charged. If that's not single carrier....then nothing is.

"Contracted" might not have been the best word to use. But we (ATI) lose the revenue for that flight and I believe it is Charged against our Reliability Report.
Not very SC like.

There is only a handful that were looking to retire at 60 this year already that would consider this. This offer will not move anyone over 60 to leave and it doesn't offset the early retirement penalty for those more than a year younger, so I guess your stuck with us "old" guys as we are with you.

Very interesting, since you have no reliability report except those that are internal.

The contract is with ATSG not ATI nor ABX

The reliability report which Amazon receives is based of ATSG (both carriers). I just wonder if 1224 has submitted that in their argument.

Not worth a reply. Please troll elsewhere.

ATSG and Atlas hand in the same reports. Go ask your DO's where they go. I think its R.E. and B.B. are the two that hand them up the food chain there. Both companies do weekly monthly qtly reliability reports for AZ. I have a hunch that we see one another reports, just a guess.

Not trying to hurt your feelings. Your performance is ATSG based not ABX or ATI

ATSG maintains the payroll and all accounting for ATI and ABX. (Exhibit submitted for single carrier petition-fact) This is no secret. There is one money pot and numerous profit centers that contribute. Thats the structure of the whipsaw....JH can show negative revenues at his whim. This has gone on since the spin off of the two carriers........until we called him on it via the single carrier petition.
