I think you may be over thinking this. How many guys do you still see running around with Northface Jackets? For years. They will provide a specific date for the change over but you can bet there will be an unofficial "grace period" where you will not get any more than a verbal comment, if that. Remember the union blast about the wings? An official announcement was made about wearing the old eagle wings but how many guys have you heard of that were actually written up for it. And trust me, if there had been, we would have all heard about it.
