Soooo...suppose a guy spends a few days gathering his info and completing a UPS application....

...and the second he hits the final button to 'submit' the application he instantly gets the following message...

"We have received and reviewed your application. Unfortunately we have many qualified applicants and will not be able to schedule you for additional testing at this time. Thank you for your interest in UPS. "

Does that mean he will not be considered at all? Dead in the water at this point? (I...er, I mean "he" meets or exceeds all published minimums).

I would try back after next Thursday.

Heh heh - I appreciate the humor, but I guess my question is - is this tantamount to an instant "TBNT" notification, or is it the standard message that pops up for everyone?

Sadly yes, I believe it's the standard thanks-but-no-thanks reply. It could be a glitch of some kind and it wouldn't be the first time around. I'd try again under a different email address maybe? Wish you the best.

Oh well - shot in the dark anyway. I knew I should have logged my lunar landings.

Do you have 1000 turbine pic that they are lining for? Maybe if you post your credentials here someone could spot something

I keep getting the same e-mail. My quals are 4600 TT, 2600 PIC Turbine, A320 typed, current 121, masters level education. Can't figure out why.

App Update?
Anyone else not able to update their info? I applied last year, and haven't been able to update my app since. Any suggestions?

You have to reapply each calendar year.

- have your sponsor(s) check on your behalf,
- ask yourself at a job fair,
- apply with a different email address,
- make a phone call and check yourself (I'd try the first three options before trying to call them)
Sorry, I don't have their phone number. Maybe someone else here will post it or PM it?
Wish you all the best.

In all likelihood it's not you. It's probably our HR department's Commodore 64 computer (1) struggling with the recent upgrade to a 56.6k dialup modem.
