I posted the question a while ago. One person I know finished his application and received the same verbiage at the end, and he has been able to update his application all along. I received the same verbiage, but cannot update my application at all (I get a message saying, "This application does not need attention at this time."). I tried with a new application, and now I've got more than one on file.
A third person I know had previously gotten the "TBNT" email a couple days after applying. He was still able to update his application, and when he updated it yesterday, since being made a sim instructor, he instantly received the link to arrange time with an HR person, but unfortunately there are no time slots available.

Ups requires 1000 hrs multi-PIC turbine...does your 2600 PIC Turbine include 1000 multi? My son ran into the same problem...

I do, most of my PIC is multi-turbine. I met all of their requirements, I guess I don't know what their "competitive" requirements are to make it to the invite. Thanks.

If it's a glitch in the system, it would be good to know. Someone else that claims to have "inside knowledge" said that we should go to a job fair to inquire. ... Seems like a long way to go, especially if we're in the "TBNT" pile and not know it.

It took me numerous job fairs and many calls from my friends to the HR before I got the call. ...and I knew my application was actually on file and that I was able to update it.
You aren't even sure your app is being looked at or that it's even "visible" to the HR? IF it's a glitch doing nothing won't help, will it? At the very least I'd try to find out how I can fix it and how to improve my chances.
Some people luck out and get a call as soon as they apply. ..but most don't.

Are you competitive? New hires are still higher time (8500+TT), have had check airman, training department, safety dept experience, etc., volunteer or contribute in their communities, and want to work for brown vs want a high paying job anywhere they can get on - that application question of why do you want to work for UPS...
Like whale said, get your buds to inquire from the inside, if not try the contact HR option, and hit up a job fair and talk to them personally. Keep diversifying your resume at the same time-that's good for every company. Best of luck.

I have a question....
I recently achieved my associates degree (will finish my bachelors in April), hit 4000 TT, and a few other neat things I'd like to update. However, when I log into the job application and select it it just says "no further work is needed."
How do I go about editing my app? Or did I blow my one shot at it.....
Cheers
