Quote: I appologize up front there is no discussion on the MEC, contracts, the majority, the 12, or anything related to that here...just today's drop:

All NY
#/Airframe Pick Sequence:
2x B767ER: 1, 2
9x B737: 3, 11, 12, 14, 20, 21, 22, 24, 251
6x A320: 4, 7, 9, 15, 16, 17
3x B717: 8, 10, 13
18x MD88: All else (inc 26-38)
Kind of surprised 7ER went 1 and 2. Seems like you're asking to be on the bottom for quite a while. If we get a TA the rates are likely to be pretty high and attract bidders in above you for some time. But nice to see they had the option!

Couldn't find the details. Just so I understand correctly, there were NYC7ERB positions that were not back filled or that were not awarded?

Correct. Are you under seat lock?

OK, if the positions aren't back filled then line pilots don't get them and they go to new hires. That doesn't seem right.

No, I'm not seat locked.

There weren't enough people bidding that weren't on seatlock. Not that hard to understand. If you want something have it in all the time. Whether it's posted in an AE or not.

my assumption is more bid off than were backfilled. The results of the latest AE said there were 32 open ER slots with 0 offered for bid. My guess is all those spots were NYC and people had conditional bids in that weren't met or were under seat lock. If neither of those, then i agree with you.

Thanks for the input.

The equivalent of a reasons report following an AE award would be pretty interesting and potentially valuable.

Entirely possible they're building international/heavy time and getting typed in a jet that FDX operates.
