Well the majority of the reps spewed so much false information during the vote, why would we believe them? 80% of the sapa reps are company salesmen.

In other words it would be beneficial to the company to wait if anything just to create doubt for the next contract.
Didn't someone post a few pages back that last time they announced the flying like a day after the agreement with the pilots?

So makes you wonder why Skywest pilots gave in that quickly. Pilots never learn.

All is well, carry on.
According to SAPA the TA gave second year pilots a 77% pay increase the first year. Did all you guys run out and spend the 77% pay increase already?

I think that Skywest should be the last choice for a pilot now. One could go to Air Wisconsin for a year, get 41000 to 49000 in bonuses plus regular pay and if he chose he could then go to Skywest on 2nd year pay. By the 2nd year Skywest will probably have their own bonus of 30,000 to match the others. If so the pilot would be getting 71000 to 79000 in bonus. If he goes directly to Skywest, then after 2 years he would have 1 to 7500 in bonuses.

While i agree there are better 1-2 year options... if pay is your inly motivating factor. Most new guys i talk to. Its more then straight money. Its base options, grounded history of OO and future prospects..

That's my point, if there is an announcement coming I believe company will hold off so it makes ppl believe they weren't desperate to get it done so next time a TA vote comes up people won't auto vote no

It is obvious what the game plan is. Keep opening up new bases out west, draw pilots in that want to be based west and station them east in DTW, MSP, ORD where not many want to be. The operational needs of our company stay staffed, but just barely since pilots will keep on transferring out west. It seems to be working because Compass and Horizon are becoming rather lackluster out west while SkyWest still is able to recruit owing to bases and reputation. Everyone out east that can go to either Endeavor or an AA wholly owned regional is doing so instead of picking SkyWest.
