SkyWest has only had a bonus for military or having jet type rating. They also used to give it out to guys who came from part 135 but Im not sure if they are still doing that. Otherwise, they have never had a blanket new hire bonus for everyone.

Other bonuses:
Being a PM reserve commuter and getting an email on your day off telling you to report at 0500 tomorrow to some East Coast base
The opportunity to spend multiple hours per day appreciating the delightful palace that is the IAH crew room.
Or any crew room in the system, come to think of it.
The fuzzy, warm feeling you get from the certainty of knowing that any trip drop attempts will automatically be denied, even if reserve coverage is showing positive (hah!) and there are no OT trips. Why? Because they can.
Very courageous representation from pilot group 'leaders' who absolutely, positively have your best interest in heart, and would rather resign than accept the company's dictates. Oh, wait...
Free pizza (or cake) once a year, for about 4 hours in various crew rooms! I mean, that cold pizza is worth what, $1 on the street? Huge, I tell you. Huge!

What choo talkin' bout, Willis? Didn't you see Chip's note a while back (or was it TG's note?) where it was made clear that the Surface tablet was a QOL improvement for pilots? That's a bonus right there.
