Default Where can I find typical routes...

For the ERJ vs CRJ from trips that originate from O'hare for SkyWest?

Strongly considering them as a first airline, and ORD (living in Schaumburg) would be my domicile of choice.

Can anyone tell me what the trip efficiency, QOL differences would be between the two airframes at that specific domicile?

PMs would be fine as well.

Well, If you want the ERJ at ORD, your typical route for a while will be the occasional sitting at ORD ready with no calls, you'll be on reserve for a while. As for the CRJ, well, there's plenty of options in the mix, just take a peek on the routes. Sometimes you just do out and backs and some other you leave ORD on day 1 and go nowhere near until day 4.

I won't be able to take a class date until January. Hoping the 35 new ERJs might solve that issue by then.

You’ll be able to get ORD right away. The trips vary quite a bit from turns to leaving ORD on day 1 and not seeing it until day 4. The ERJ tends to see both coasts, DEN, SFO, especially. The CRJ has a variety as well and sees a lot of small towns and EAS cities. I actually miss this part of the CRJ. If you want to fly a lot, pick the CRJ. If you want to sit at home on reserve, pick the ERJ.

That sounds wonderful. The longer trips to the coasts really appeal to me. About how long would I need to sit reserve on 175 @ ORD? Once I get a line on 175, is it easy to build flight time?

I really don't mind sitting reserve on the 175 for a while longer if it means I get more efficient trips down the road with better QOL later. I'll be living about a 20 minute drive from ORD.

If you plan on coming until January who knows what’ll happen here. Right now CRJ will get you more hours quickly than ERJ. 35 new airplanes, but not all are confirmed for ORD, some are Alaska birds (already requested a delay from AS) and some DL birds have no domicile yet (rumors are east coast base)

Those Delta birds are probably going to LGA to replace XJT I'm guessing. AS birds going to SAN and PDX I think I heard.
