You can definitely study that anytime but you don't want to peak too early since the written is after the CTP Sim portion.
ExpressJet paid for my Shepherd Air when I went through

Default Pay During Training

Hi! I have a question regarding the training pay for budgeting purposes. I know that you get paid 65 hours/month during training. Will you get paid for 65 hours after completing the training or still get paid on pay day? Let’s say your class date starts on 1st of the month, will you get paid for 65 hours on 25th?

ATP/CTP is a big time and brain suck if you’re not used to the 121 environment and jets. You have to manage your energy, the people I went to CTP with spent 1 or 2 hours a night studying. We all received mid to high 90’s on the written. We only had one day off to get our written done. Then onto the sim for the ATP certification (This was not with SkyWest).
I’m being sent to ATP CTP through ATP Jets, and they paid for my Sheppard Air. ATP Jets said I just had to call to activate it.

you will get paid 32.5 hours on the 22nd and 32.5 hours on the 7th of the following month.
Your pay periods are the 1st through the 15th that pay on the 22nd, and the 16th through the last day of the month that then get paid on the 7th.
If the payable date is a weekend or holiday the actual paycheck deposit day is different.

I have an upcoming class date and haven’t gotten the schedule as of yet and would be interested in getting an idea. I was told by the recruiter that everything is in house now.

Hey,
I am finishing my ATP CTP with skywest right now, in house. But we are the LAST class to do that in house. Expect to be send to a partner, maybe L3 in Texas.

That’s helpful. Thank you. Do you have a screenshot or anything showing the rest of the training layout?

My ATP CTP was done through ATP Jets out of DFW. 3 days was over zoom, then travel to DFW and do sim. We were able to do the written there.

I was told by ATP Jets that my class date at the end of August (starts on the 23rd) has been switched to all in-person training. I think they were starting the change over with the last classes in July, but not 100% sure on the change-over date. My guess is it'll be a class by class notification.

Have a class in mid November but was told that having an ATP, there was a better chance of the class date being moved up to a sooner time. Anyone seeing this? Thank you..
