Sorry folks, I missed this reply by word302 in another thread.

"OO. ATL for 6 months as an FO, DTW for 6 months as CA, back to ATL for the remainder of your time. We have plenty of issues here but pay is finally decent."

Do you other OO guys concur?

You could also likely get ORD fairly quick as a captain too which wouldn't be a horrible commute. Whet would you be based for these prospective DEC positions? DTW isn't a terrible base.

Are any FOs out of training getting ORD? Or is it strictly DTW for the most part?

I'll take whatever I can get and like it.

I'm not basing my decision on aircraft.

I made a list last night of my priorities in order of importance:
1) Time to upgrade/Getting TPIC
2) Base/Difficulty of commute
3) Pay/Signing bonus
4) Holding a line

Classes are being increased to 56 CRJ NH’s every 2.5 weeks. This should fan people out to more bases...

Take a minimum of 3 years to get 175 CA slot.
Check the seniority tab on their website.
RJ CA is a little over 1 year.

Also, you will have to prove past 121 experience to get that "industry credit pay"....are you going to be able to get that from 19 years ago?
Most airlines only save them for the required 5 years.

I spoke to a guy by email about it yesterday and he said they would accept logbook entries or any training records I have.

I'll bring my badge and whatever other things I still have. Hell, I'll might bring my 727 operating manuals and GOM if it'll help. lol

It's a substantial raise from 1st year to 3rd or 4th year pay.
