Southwest recruiters will straight up say they like SkyWest pilots. It’s not a secret.
Go to DFW so you can drive worst case scenario. ORD is a fairly commuter friendly airport when the weather behaves. Lots of flights on skywest too.

For an individual who wants “factual proof” I find it funny that you also resort to semantics. Believe what you will, however it is inaccurate to just refer to it as “kool aid” and “big airline” things.

The statistics speak for themselves that people with a 737 type, a bachelors, and at least 1,000 TPIC get hired. Any company graphics or pie charts you have seen are the company cheerleaders trying to make you feel better about your decision and an ultimate retention technique.

I’ll repeat it for the cheap seats - “Airline recruiters say they like everyone. It’s not a secret.”
