Skywest or PSA
I have an interview dates for both Skywest and PSA. Wanting to get an opinion on who I should choose. I would be commuting from Pittsburgh. Moving isn’t an option as my family lives here. Yes I’ve tried Republic but they aren’t taking any interviews til late this year/early 2020. Trying to avoid long reserve times for QOL. I do know PSA sap could help with qol even with a longer reserve. Also looking to get time and move onto a major.

If you choose Skywest, you'll get LGA which is an ERJ175 base. Upgrade on the 175 here is something around a few years I think. You'll probably upgrade sooner at PSA, if that's a priority for you.
Otherwise, pay is similar post contracts. SkyWest has a lot of open time to pick up. My experience with the company in my 10 months here has been mostly good.
4 year degree? If not, the flow is nice to have even if it does take 7-10 years right now. I also hear the SAP thing is pretty cool.
In the end, their both regionals. Pick the one that will cause your life to suck the least. IE pick the better commute, and one that will get you out of there faster.

Currently longer reserve times for a new hire in most PSA bases (that could change if more growth happens or if they open another base). Upgrade will likely hover around 2.5-3 years for someone hired today. Expect to flow in 7-8 years from DOH. Premium pay at PSA means you get 125% for any credit over 75 hours and 150% for anything over 85 hours which is nice in addition to our recent pay raise.
Pick the one that is the easiest commute all other things the same.

I had a recruiter reach out over LinkedIn a month ago saying there are oppertunities for near street captain at PSA? It's at 2.5-3yrs now?

Good catch.. Didn't even think about commuting to anything AA would be hard out of pit. Feel like pit to ord would be easy... Worst case midway on southwest. Pretty sure my decision is OO, if I get a CJO

FWIW, I fly PIT-LGA often enough, and we only occasionally have a jump seater.

I’m in Sdf. What is rsv in cvg and day like? Still at 4 months. How long before I could use the SAP?
I was considering SkyWest for ORD base. Figured I could get a line right out of training.
