SKW Pilots, I encourage you listen to the SAPA conference call held today. Kinda makes you rethink the notion that “SAPA is management”...

United has over 800 airplanes and 13000 pilots. Think that through.

Republic and Skywest do not even remotely represent 65% of United’s lift. At least attempt to be ballpark accurate.

Skywest pilots don’t want facts. They just talk a big talk.

as an OO pilot i really hope this is not true. Non rev bennies are NOT supposed to be in jealousy here. I can see the JS, but ABSOLUTELY no excuse for denying a non rev or zed fare for any reason you would not deny a paying passenger.

not sure where 65% came from. we may do 65% of the daily departures ua does( we do 65 for every 100 ua mainline does) but that is the only way i can get close to that number. we have 180ish planes, not an insignificant number but not 65% of total lift.

edit: OO and YX combined have 248 UA planes acording to wikipedia, out of 602 UAX AC. not a small # but lets get some perspective

Domestic lift, yes, total lift no. SkyWest has 1000 of United’s domestic departures per day which I believe is 2500 total. Republic is around 400.

If it is true, you may well move up a number!? Out of what, 5000+ pilots, odds are there’s at least one person stupid enough to do this. I, for one, am excited to see how this turns out!

OO/RP =65% of all UAX departures...

excited is the last word i would use. a ZW guy/gal did not make it home and an OO pilot overstepped (no offense but im going to caveat "assuming this is true") but yes i believe this could happen given the size of our pilot group and the emotions that are at play
