very doubtful without another announcement. not enough EDV and RAH planes to cover this flying. DTW has been jr for the past 3 years at OO. ATL is the only east coast CRJ base that i think is even slightly in jeopardy but id say MSP and DTW are safe for the next few years

And to stoke the fire more, some at Endeavor think their MSP presence might be the first to go. And a couple guys I've flown with say management has been particularly gung ho with ATL ops in the hopes of edging out endeavor there and increasing our presence. I know the notion of "sticking to geographical regions" has been floating around since the hammer dropped, but I just don't see it happening that cut-and-dry.

Looking at your post history, looks like about 3/4 of your posts are about your dislike of OO or YX. Would love to know what they did to instill such hatred.

Both have pros and cons but I'd say skywest. At edv you'll be based in lga/JFK your first 6ish months on reserve and then when you come to dtw you'll be on reserve an additional 6 months.
Guy I just talked to at endeavor flew just 200 hours his first year there. Tons of fos there have the time to upgrade but can't and it's pushing 3 years. The delta interview is nice but you have wait an additional 18 months after your ~3 year upgrade. The time to go to endeavor was '16-17.
At skywest you'll get dtw off the bat maybe a month or 2 of reserve and building time a lot quicker. Upgrade will be as soon as you have the mins.

EDV just had a whole class out of training get awarded DTW. Upgrades are slow now but that will get better. The sitting around sucks though.

From the outside it seems there is a logjam of guys holding out for delta only and not putting effort into going elsewhere. Could this be why upgrades are slower there? I know at skywest everyone is trying to get out asap to whoever calls first and it really moves you up both the captain and especially FO list fast in Detroit.

Detroit is going to grow at 9E as Daddy D winds down GoJet there. Then it will likely stagnate. Who knows how CVG opening will affect that. We have a lot of senior guys in DTW, particularly on the CA side. From what I've gathered, DTW is far more junior for SkyWest. Make that a consideration.
I would lean SkyWest over 9E, don't listen to anyone that says the DGI is worth anything. Get in to SkyWest and fly your butt off. Learn as much as you can, upgrade fast, build PIC. Round out your resume with volunteering, lcp, acp, or something else that perks your interest. Then get out! 9E seems to be the place where Delta hopes go to die. At last count YTD less than a quarter of those that moved on from 9E went to widget.
Enjoy the ride.
