Shortly after that email was out , all the training ladies got the work there was not training in 2021 and that they need to find a new position as crew support was taking over the training scheduling task..

but what do i know.. So continue on with this topic, good luck to all..especially the training ladies that have worked so hard for 20+ years that are now forced into retiring..

Including V.D.?

Shake up had ZERO to do with any email. Anyone that buys into this drivel should re-evaluate their purpose in life.

This doesn't really make any sense to be honest. The training department just changed who they report up through. They report up through the director of crew support instead of the director of training, both of whom report to the VP of flight ops. So why would a VP email and a slap on the hand have anything to do with the "shake up"? Training schedulers ultimately still report up to the VP of FO.

They wouldn’t spend time, money and effort to shake things up for them to remain essentially the same.

As I mentioned, they changed the director and managers involved, but it doesn't change anything for the VP. It sounds like they had an issue with the director/manager level, not the VP level.

Lol so the big brains in CS are in charge of training now? If so that’s such a disappointment. They seem to struggle in completing even the simplest of tasks.

Unlike the tough tasks of reading a TAF, or remembering to bring your EFB from the hotel?

No. They just had some of the training coordinators move over to crew support and report to their manager. So someone knows what they’re doing with training schedules.

Default Timeline Update?

For those who were about to go to class, Has the company been updating your "Employment Center" dates ever since the hiring freeze started?
