I called Sheppard air a couple of days ago to renew my license for the ATP written. I was in the process of studying the material when Skywest suspended training last March. The person I talked to said that because of Covid their policy had changed and that they would not sell me the course until I had a confirmed CTP class date and I was within 3 weeks of it.

They did the same for me. Aside from having to provide new access, they said it's so knowledge retention doesn't peak and decay too early before taking the test. Makes sense, although in my household it is nearly impossible to find more than 10 mins uninterrupted at a time to study. In a weird way I'm really looking forward to getting away for training. :-D

I did. I wouldn't panic just yet if you haven't gotten one though (but check your spam folder every day). I'm sure things are still in the very early stages.

That and I think the recruiters are swamped with applications now that OO is officially hiring again.

Got my reply from the recruiter about a day after I submitted my interview with the 4 video responses. Also got an email last night saying that if we had a CJO then we don't need to reapply for the FO position.

To clarify, are there any people left who got past indoc in 2020 still waiting to restart training? Just trying to see if there's anybody ahead of us, coming from the class that was next to start indoc.
