my point is that your relative pilot seniority won’t do you any good if you are the last guy qualified even if you have 2000 people below you. You will still be the plug in base, on reserve and CS’ bit@@ if none of them aren’t qualified because of training backlog or whatever.
Correct…we are saying the same thing. You are likely saying better than me.

What you’re probably misunderstanding is that no matter if someone in the class after you gets IOE done before you (which has been happening, not sure what order they go in or why), when you’re both on the line eventually, you’ll still be more senior

I agree. I understand that your company seniority is how it stays during training and after. I finished my checkride within the past couple months and know people who are still in training who are more senior than me. When they finish, they will be still be more senior than me. I do appreciate the clarification and input.

No. That statement is wrong. The only way they will be more senior than you is if they started Indoc before you. There is NO way they are more senior if you started Indoc before them.

Company seniority means nothing when bidding for schedules. It’s all pilot seniority. And that is dependent on when you started Indoc.

We started indoc at the same time…same class, higher seniority.

From my foxhole (finishing PT and moving to MT in Atlanta next week), there is no delay in FO training right now. Only choke point that is slowing things down a lot is IOE. There is a CA Upgrade, Indoc, and Initial GS class in SLC right now, so not sure what you mean by FO training being on hold?

Roger. Good to hear. Somebody else here had posted that FO training was on hold so the training dept can focus on upgrades.

As someone waiting on IOE, has anyone heard of any FO's that have been unable to consolidate their time? Or is everyone getting their hours?

You'll get your hours, the company doesn't want to spend the money on more training for you. Haven't heard of anyone not consolidating other than from getting hurt outside of work or something like that.

Anybody know if the CBT systems quizzes(systems Val) is a pria event? If you get below 80% on one of the attempts does that go on your record?
