I've heard they are prioritizing captain upgrades.

Was it a CRJ or ERJ class??

Ugh, that’s not looking good over there. I doubt world geopolitics factor in, yet. Probably too many sitting at home waiting for IOE with the clock ticking.

What is the time duration from class start date to the time you're waiting 9+ weeks on 'paid vacation'? ... 4 weeks..? 8 weeks? (Basically class start to end of LOE?)
Instead of quitting my desk job, I might just take a leave of absence for the (time described above), and then go back to it while im waiting 9 weeks.

edit -- saw this:
"ctp - 7 days
indoc- 5-6 days over two weeks. mine was virtual. I heard its now in person in slc.
systems/dts/matrix- 2 weeks
procedures- 1 week
sims- 2 or 3 weeks. Most people getting extra sessions so footprint gets extended."

So it looks like CTP thru end of sims 8-9 weeks when I add all that up. Valid?

I am still empoyed at my old employer- actually working today. I tool vacation for my training. ERJ

ATP/CTP started Nov 6. Took my checkride Feb 1. I had a couple extra manuevers sims and that bumped me off footprint and I had 12 days off before loft

I guess covid was running through the training dept.

So for me almost 12 weeks with delays and holidays.

My IOE is not scheduled yet.

Your sight picture is correct. Approximately 58-62 calendar days not counting any unexpected delays. Some classes are experiencing delays and some are not. It largely depends on Sim availability and when the waves of COVID roll through.

I have the Feb 25 CRJ class date and received an email from SkyWest stating the same. Basically, come in for indoc and then expect delays. More details will be announced as they become available.
