You can join the party. Everyone is ****ed. There are people who did LOE weeks after me and have 100+ hours in the jet while I'm sitting here in the dark. They will tell you it's because "some bases are hurting more than others" which I don't understand. During the sim brief we were told that IOE goes solely by LOE date so i'm not sure what has changed but everyone seems to be confused. My class has already lost ~6 people to other airlines.

I bet united isn't skipping around to people at random. I would bet they are actually following some sort of a system/list. I've said it before and I'll say it again. There are DOZENS of pilots who did LOE 3-6 weeks AFTER me who have 100+ hours in the jet while I am sitting here watching. On the IOE survey I said I would travel to any base for IOE. I didn't block any days off and didn't submit any check airman requests.

Your situation isn't the best (but still far from awful, you're getting paid to do nothing with flight benefits, no pity from the rest of us), but you still failed to explain how a union would make things any different.

Check back in the thread, I'm not the one that said a union would help. I haven't mentioned a union once. But they are skipping around, do some digging in sked+ and report back.....

And just because you see them doing something other than First In, First Out, that doesn't mean they are randomly skipping around without giving it any thought.
