There are DOZENS of pilots who did LOE 3-6 weeks AFTER me who have 100+ hours in the jet while I am sitting here watching. On the IOE survey I said I would travel to any base for IOE. I didn't block any days off and didn't submit any check airman requests.
Your situation isn't the best (but still far from awful, you're getting paid to do nothing with flight benefits, no pity from the rest of us), but you still failed to explain how a union would make things any different.

And just because you see them doing something other than First In, First Out, that doesn't mean they are randomly skipping around without giving it any thought.
